He’s a little secret for you.  You shouldn’t be afraid to fail EVER, in fact it’s a secret ingredient to big success!  Everything you think about failure is wrong.  Failure got a bad rap when you were younger.  In school they told you if your failed you were a nobody, wouldn’t pass, would never make it in life.  Failing that math test meant you would end up flipping burgers for the rest of your life.  I’m here to tell you once and for all, they were WRONG!  You need to fail, it’s GOOD FOR YOU.

Why You Shouldn't Be Afraid to Fail Ever

No, I’m not crazy.  It’s completely true.  In fact they have done a HUGE disservice to you by convincing you to avoid failure.  This fear of failure is CRIPPLING the world and your happiness.

Afraid to start a new business because “you might fail, go broke, lose everything you have…”  Is that really what you believe or what they told you to believe?  What’s the worst that could happen?  Is it fixable?  Could you pick yourself up after and try again?  YES YOU CAN!  Stop the excuses.  That little voice in the back of your heading telling you to be afraid, be careful, never steer off the beaten path is a lie.  It’s the biggest lie of your life.

The only thing between success, happiness, and everything you ever wanted is a lie that feeds off your fear.

How can you try anything new or worthwhile if you fear you might fail?  That means you would never grow as a person.  It means you’ll be dull and a zombie for life. Don’t you want to do something with your gifts, your talents?  Don’t you owe it to yourself and everyone that has every help you to be a success and achieve happiness?

I know you want to do big things.  So let’s work on changing how you think about failure.

First off failure is a REQUIREMENT for success.  You cannot expect to be good at something on your first try.  That’s very rare.  You have to practice and really SUCK at it for a long time until you eventually become great.  So instead of viewing failure as a bad thing keep it in the back of your mind that you can expect some failures on the way to success.  Failure is just letting you know you are learning and growing.

And finally never give up.  Treat each failure as a chance to regroup and come back stronger.  Make your ideas better every time.  You are just perfecting it, it’s not ready yet.  The harder you work and the more you try the better it will be.  Giving up is not an option.
